Best Agers - This segment has been a market that has been growing for years - older models are more common everywhere in advertising and in the classic fashion segment. From the age of around 40, you are considered the best ager in the industry. This is followed by the term senior model from the age of 60. For best-agers and senior models, the guidelines from the fashion and commercial segments apply. Depending on the type and size, models can be used for classic catalog shoots or editorials.

Women - For the advertising segment, there are no strict dimensions that you have to adhere to. A personable charisma is more important. Furthermore, beautiful teeth, hair, hands and / or feet are an important feature of a commercial model.

Application pictures

Take your time for a couple of decent application photos
You don't need professional pictures to apply to a model agency. However, there are a few things you should keep in mind when creating the images. First and foremost, the agency's pictures should give an unadulterated impression of you. If the agency is interested in you, you will usually be invited to a small casting appointment. 

In a nutshell. Ask someone who can take the pictures for you in a neutral setting in broad daylight. Just dress and put on your make-up. Make at least two portraits on one, showing your smile and teeth. Create a picture in half body (Ab above the knees) and a picture in full body.

Collect all the data you need for a successful application
Take 5 minutes to submit your application properly. The decisive information relates to your measurement and clothing data. You can easily find out your exact measurements with a tape measure (tailor's tape measure, body tape measure). Such a tape measure costs between one and three euros and can be purchased on the internet or in retail stores. 

Depending on the segment in which you are applying, your measurements are not necessarily decisive, but it is essential that the information is correct so that the model agency can classify you correctly.
